Will The Pain From Emphyzema Go Away

CHET BAKER

The castle erected against the wind drops and justifies
her heart for their shadows

Crying only the orphan hero
the early morning breath tempted

Late velvet promise,
and resigned to oblivion known

mercy persists warm mist,
your petals die without the see

The slow shadows time has sown cover the pain
bloom.
